I am a small business owner, an educator, a writer, and a mom. Cotillion classes taken as a sixth grader, under the imposing watch of Mr. Benjamin, left a lasting impression. These days, however, we don't have much use for learning the Box-step. Most etiquette books are intimidating in their size alone, and even I can't absorb all the information they contain. However, I do know how and where to look should I need to know how to dine with royalty. It is my hope to encourage the more conscious practice of manners and civility.
